You don't have to be an animal care organisation. There's content for those who are studying, teaching, researching, rescuing, training, conserving, protecting, supporting, planning and more. 

It's not an animal care membership, it's a membership that highlights and explores the interconnections between people, animals and the planet, so that everyone in your organisation can use this learning to support optimal wellbeing for all.

Great question. Instead of just telling you to trust us, here's what we think - then you can make your own mind up.

We want to shine a light on what's meaningful for each individual, 24/7, throughout life. Sometimes that's evidence-based and backed by research...but sometimes what's meaningful lies outside of what has been researched, measured, evidenced or 'proven'.

Everything we produce is backed by compassion. Does this mean it's evidence-based - yes, wherever and whenever possible. We're very active in the academic field, with regular publications and contributions, plus review and advisory positions alongside Sabrina's PhD study. This means we're very well positioned to give you information and content backed by the latest scientific understanding.

That said, we also think that creating resources and sharing information which is strictly limited to research means some major things are missed or overlooked. 

Compassion: Who are you? What matters to you? How are you feeling? In a world that is focused on evidence and assessment, we too often forget about common sense, compassion, emotion, and care. We need another language if we are to connect with ourselves and the individual animals we care for, or about. It’s time we prioritise what’s meaningful and ask, ‘What is it really like to be you?’ to inform decisions that impact individual wellbeing. 

Action: Learning is important, it’s a powerful tool. But what really makes a difference is how you use your knowledge to take action. What matters to an individual is what you do today. Future goals are great, but we want to focus on what is meaningful right now. That’s why our focus is on empowering individuals, teams and organisations to translate what you learn online into the real world so that you can take action to improve a life today.

Interconnection: If we are to truly support the wellbeing of animals, ourselves, and the planet we share, then we need a systemic approach. We need to understand how our wellbeing influences the wellbeing of others, and vice versa. Then how we can work to improve our experiences and those of the animals we care for or about. By developing an interconnected approach to wellbeing we can avoid the frustration of ineffective solutions, and instead support conditions where people, animals and the planet can flourish together.
